On Tuesday, October 29th in cooperation with Barce Foundation , PR agency MBM and the Secretariat of Culture organized a festive evening at the conclusion of the exhibition ' O Efeito Beija - flor " in the City Hall of Piracicaba . It was a ceremonial meeting complete with the Dutch and Brazilian national anthem.The exhibition lasted a month and ended with a draw of the lottery tickets . The tickets are sold for the benefit of the 50th anniversary of the orphanage home "Casa do Bom Menino". A small group prepared the snacks and catered this evening. About 19 children who have supported this catering project all have received a certificate from the deputy mayor. For some an emotional moment . Later in the evening , all the children each draw a lottery ticket and it was nice to see that nine winners were also present on that evening.We would like to thank the orphanage home , the goverment, the press and all the volunteers for another great project. And as we have agreed on this night we will give in 2014 a creative workshop at the orphanage .
De gemeenteraad van Piracicaba heeft op dinsdag 29 oktober in samenwerking met Barce Foundation, PR bureau MBM en het secretariaat van Cultuur een feestelijke avond georganiseerd ter afsluiting van de expositie 'O Efeito Beija-flor" in de City Hall van Piracicaba. Het was een ceremoniële bijeenkomst compleet met het Nederlandse en Braziliaanse volkslied.
De expositie duurde een maand en is afgesloten met een trekking van de lootjes. De lootjes zijn verkocht t.b.v. het 50-jarig bestaan van het weeshuis Casa do Bom Menino. Voor de avond hadden een groep kinderen hapjes klaargemaakt en de catering verzorgd. Ongeveer 19 kinderen die aan dit cateringproject hebben meegeholpen hebben allemaal een oorkonde van de loco-burgermeester gekregen. Voor sommige een emotioneel moment. Later op de avond hebben alle kinderen elk een lootje getrokken en het was leuk om te zien dat 9 winnaars ook aanwezig waren op die avond.
Wij bedanken het weeshuis, de gemeente, de pers en alle vrijwilligers voor weer een fantastisch project. En zoals wij op deze avond ook hebben afgesproken komen wij in 2014 een creatieve workshop geven in het weeshuis.
